An honest cop who's spent a lifetime chasing his sister's killer is drawn inexorably further into a conflict between several competing criminal enterprises vying for control of Toronto's streets and it's multi-billion dollar trans-shipment pipeline to America.

 

When an aging patriarch's release from prison sets off a war between Sicilian and Calabrian factions of the Italian mafia, new players from Asia and Latin America see their long awaited chance to finally displace the ancien regime and seize control.

 

An unlikely alliance between erstwhile enemies searches for a truth which will hit much closer to home than any of them imagine.
