“The West Q West” (WQW) is a sitcom for traditional primetime and online distribution which details the antics of a group of comically unqualified but audacious hipsters who become unlikely proprietors of an avant-garde restaurant in the heart of Toronto’s globally renowned West Queen West neighbourhood.

Assembling an eclectic crew of principals reflecting the city’s diversity, the management group struggles to survive and thrive in Toronto’s ultra-competitive dining industry.

The series’ farcical tone masks deeply complex, relevant characters whose personal ambitions, romantic interests and broader generational struggle is revealed through the outrageous spectacle of their entrepreneurial collaboration.
