A megalomaniac filmmaker of dubious talent is forced to confront his own inadequacy when his long-neglected partner begins to realize her incredible talent. Employing every cynical tactic at his disposal, a desperate and delusional auteur fights to preserve his waning relevance. (To the extent he ever was.)
